Wassack Sports Park: Results Have Been Documented and Analyzed!

As part of the 2031 Federal Horticultural Show (BUGA31), a sports park offering a wide variety of sports activities is to be built on the former “Wassack” brownfield site. It is intended to be a place for all Wuppertal residents who want to stay active. To ensure our success, we’ve conducted numerous engagement activities! A total of about 700 people participated and shared their opinions and suggestions regarding an initial design. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated!

Our service provider has now evaluated the online survey, and we have documented the in-person events. Both are now available for download on our project page .

Both will now be handed over to the planning firm. They will evaluate the results and determine which adjustments to the original draft are possible and appropriate.

The revised draft is expected in spring 2027 and will be published on our project page.
