talbeteiligung.de is the participation platform of the City of Wuppertal. Here you will find all the information you need about citizen participation in Wuppertal. Above all, we inform you about the participation projects in which you can currently participate and the extent to which your feedback is incorporated into political and administrative decisions. In some participation projects (e.g. Bürger*innenbduget 2025) you can also participate online after a short registration on this page and, for example, submit ideas and discuss them with other Wuppertal citizens.

There are many ways to get involved in participation projects. These options are described on the page of the respective participation project. In some projects it is possible to participate directly online on talbeteiligung. To do this, you must first register in order to obtain a valid user account. You will need an e-mail address for this. If you have successfully registered or already have a user account, you can log in directly with your login details.

Here you will find the registration form, select "Register". You will also always find the registration link at the top right of this page. Simply click on "Login/Register" to access the registration form.

You must have a valid e-mail address and enter this in addition to your user name and a password. You choose the password yourself. All other details are optional and do not have to be entered. Click on the question marks in the individual lines to find out what information is required.

If you enter a valid e-mail address, a confirmation link will be sent to your e-mail inbox after registration. Click on this link in the e-mail to complete your registration. You can then log in to the platform.

To be able to log in, you must have registered successfully and clicked on the confirmation link that was sent to you by e-mail. To log in, click on "Login/Register" at the top right of the page. Once you have done this, all you have to do is enter your e-mail address and the password you have chosen and click on the "Login" button at the bottom.

We can send you a new password. Enter the e-mail address you used to register on our platform here to request a new password. Your new password will be sent to your e-mail inbox immediately.

Click on Profile (in the top right-hand corner) to go to your profile. Under Activities you can change your details (Edit profile), change your password or add a picture.

These rules are intended to ensure respectful interaction between participants. If you observe these rules, you will also increase the chance that your contributions will be read and supported by your fellow citizens.

• Show respect for the other participants and make sure you use a polite tone. Avoid insults, accusations and name-calling. These have no place in an objective discussion.
• First read the information provided and the contributions of other users. Perhaps you can agree with an existing opinion and thus save yourself and us work.
• Written language can easily lead to misunderstandings. Choose meaningful headings and give reasons for your suggestions.
• Observe the rules of spelling and grammar.
• Take into account the thematic relevance of the participation and the individual selection categories. We reserve the right to move contributions as part of the moderation process.
• Treat the anonymity granted to you responsibly.

These rules define which types of behavior are not tolerated here. We have no tolerance for these rules, as most of them are legal requirements and the platform is intended to provide a space for respectful exchange and dialog.

• You may only register once. It does not matter whether different e-mail addresses were used for registration.
• The pseudonym you choose must not be the name of a real person, as otherwise you would be violating their personal rights.
• Do not use the names of real people in your posts and comments. Do not upload any photos that depict other people. Otherwise you are violating their personal rights.
• Links to copyrighted content are not permitted.
• Do not incite violence or criminal acts. Posts containing insults, sexual innuendo, sexist or racist remarks will be deleted immediately.
• Do not post advertising messages or chain letters.
• Copyright: It is perfectly legal to post short excerpts from copyrighted works for informational purposes. Anything beyond this is illegal. Copyrighted works include newspaper articles, song lyrics, programs, images, etc.
• Please use a current browser to be able to use this site to its full extent.

If your content violates any of these rules or German law, we are forced to delete this content from the system. In such a case, we will inform you of the violation. Repeated violations of the rules may result in exclusion from the system.
