Here you will find selected proposals for measures with which Wuppertal can take the next steps towards a climate-neutral heat supply.
The measures are linked to the goals of the municipal heat planning and are to be launched in the short or medium term - in some cases still dependent on secured funding.
The proposals are divided into four overarching categories:
Heat supply and infrastructure
(e.g. planning new heating networks, neighborhood solutions, pilot projects)
Support and promotion
(e.g. energy advice, founding initiatives, exchange formats)
Administration and regulation
(e.g. better coordination, interfaces, administrative processes)
Decarbonization of individual buildings
(e.g. advisory services, funding concepts, refurbishment strategies)
