Information event: Planning and construction of a cycle ring against the backdrop of the BUGA

The city of Wuppertal, together with the Förderkreis Radring and the commissioned engineering office SSP Consult, cordially invites all interested citizens to an information event on the Radring project:

• Location: in the glass hall at Sparkasse Wuppertal, Johannisberg 1, 42103 Wuppertal

An initiative of the city's community, the cycle ring will connect the three core areas of the BUGA in the west of the city and link other natural areas and districts. This will create a continuous, safe and attractive cycle route around Wuppertal that will complement the existing network.

Last year, the city council decided to officially start the preliminary work for the project and commissioned the administration with the basic evaluation and preliminary planning for the cycle ring. To this end, the Roads and Transport Department commissioned the engineering firm SSP Consult to carry out a cycling traffic study.

During the event, the steps taken so far, the ongoing work of the commissioned engineering firm and the next project phases will be presented. There will also be an opportunity to talk directly to those involved in the project. Take the opportunity to find out more about the project, gain an insight into the current work and ask your questions in person.

Participation in the event is free of charge and access is barrier-free. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
