Citizens' budget: The TOP 36 ideas have been determined
You have decided: At the Common Good Check on May 27 at the Barmen Comprehensive School, 200 Wuppertal residents checked the TOP 100 ideas in the citizens' budget for their contribution to the common good for the city:
- Is the idea good for many / all Wuppertal residents?
- Is the idea good for certain (disadvantaged) groups?
- Does the idea connect people in Wuppertal?
- Is the idea sustainable?
These were the key questions for the lively discussions at 20 group tables. In four rounds, five ideas were compared and evaluated so that the overall result reflected as many perspectives and opinions as possible.
You can find the top 36 ideas from today on the citizens' budget project page. Due to a tie, 36 ideas are represented here instead of 30. From June to August, the administration will now go into detailed examination and look at exactly how and where the ideas can be implemented. The next important date for you is August 27, 2025, when we will kick off the final voting phase with an election party at Codeks.
As always, you will find all the information about this shortly before the event in our newsletter, in the corresponding date in our calendar, here in the news and on the Citizens' Budget project page.
