City center conference: New city center management launches survey on the perception of Elberfeld
A successful evening with a view to the future: the Elberfeld city center conference attracted many interested people to the CityKirche on April 21.
In addition to the update on the major joint construction project Elberfeld 2030 by Wuppertaler Stadtwerke (WSW) and the city administration, the audience was particularly curious about the new city center management. The Stadt+Handel office started work in April.
Project team introduces itself
Corinna Joppien and Jonas Reimann gave an insight into their area of responsibility and a foretaste of the project duration until the end of 2028. The plans for the first 100 days were outlined. The project team, which is supported by the marketing agency Schwarz+Matt and the non-profit association Die Urbanisten, wants to quickly become visible with campaigns in the city center and thus contribute to revitalization.
Citizens can take part in a survey
The first step will be a survey asking the question "What does Elberfeld stand for today - and what should it stand for in the future?", which was launched with the city center conference. The feedback from the survey will form the basis for the marketing and branding process. All interested citizens are invited to take part in the survey until Tuesday, May 5, which can also be easily accessed via smartphone using this link.
