Formal public participation on the locomotive shed site

The city of Wuppertal is planning a new, low-car residential quarter with around 450 residential units on the former locomotive shed site in Vohwinkel. As part of the BUGA, an exhibition area is to be built there first, followed by a neighborhood park and residential development, among other things.

Citizens can find out more about the plans and make suggestions and ask questions at two information events on May 18 and June 1, 2026. The events will take place in the community center on Gräfrather Straße.
