Participation in municipal heat planning completed!
With the municipal heat planning, we are developing a strategy on how all districts in Wuppertal can be supplied with renewable heat safely and sustainably in the coming years. After Wuppertal residents were able to comment on the analysis of the current situation and potential in the summer of 2025, we participated in the target scenario and the measures developed from November 12 to December 12. This took place in the form of online participation. Further information and the results can be found on the project page.

The information and comments received from the participation are currently being reviewed and will be incorporated into the final report where possible. The final heat plan will be discussed in the district councils in spring 2026 and then adopted by the Wuppertal City Council.
